AUTHENTIC POTENCY AS A HUMAN BEING

Anthony is an entrepreneur, adventurer and scholar of the human condition and has traveled to over 40 countries and worked in more than half of them. He is unconventional, tends to try out everything and does not accept the norm.
He is curious about everything but in particular the things that will help him and others free their minds. He has researched meditation, psychology, fitness and nutrition for many years on a quest to understand himself and the world around him. He has lived in a buddhist monastery, completed many fasts and retreats and regularly connects with people he calls his heros or wizards of life.
His journey is also steeped in reality with over a decade spent in the throes of global corporate hustle, deal making and new business development. Anthony now uses his corporate experience and applies it to entrepreneurship and truly knows the discipline, determination and courage required in starting from scratch.
As CEO and co-founder of a software company he has to employ his experience now more than ever. it was a difficult path breaking away from a cushy, high flying job that paid for trips around the world, and comforts that are only given to a select few human beings in life. Srtipping away all his luxuries, selling his cars and house to co-fund a business was worth the freedom he is now building.
Anthony is not without pain or struggle.
At school he could hardly finish any sentence without stuttering to a point where he would simply not talk anymore, or only open his mouth to his closest friends. This had such an affect on his confidence and ultimately left him feeling like a crippled outcast.
At the age of 27, when he got his first job after his MBA, his father died of Cancer and he was diagnosed with Ankilosing Spondylitis, a degenerative spinal disease that causes inflammation of the spine and large joints. If this pain went unmanaged, it would cause the joints to fuse and massively impair his mobility. He battled for years with chronic inflammatory pain of the spine and large joints that put him in a state of panic and fear.
Being quite unconventional, he has had difficulty with romantic relationships where he has been accused of being hypocritical while trying things out in the grey. He has come across as patronising and has pushed people away with his critical and questioning nature. He admits that this is an area of his life where he needs to learn empathy and sensitivity while being true to himself.
Through struggle and the challenges of life, he has been forging his mind and body to find ways to be more free and to have control of his own life.
He says, “I cannot speak for any of you reading this and I cannot truly put myself in your shoes. What I can do is share with you what I have uncovered on my journey of awakening or growing up”
